We are looking for educators that are interested in working in an environment that is constantly evolving. Our curriculum is curiosity driven and for that reason is not the same year after year because our kids are not the same year after year.
Our learning truly reflects the interests of the children and we are continuously exploring new ideas and ways to work with children that are engaging, educational and inspirational.

Kid's Club Program Team Member:

SCC is seeking enthusiastic and engaged individuals to join our team. We are looking to fill a position in our Kid’s Club program.

Ideal candidates should have experience working with children in an emergent, preferably Reggio Emilia inspired environment.

Flexibility, commitment, and passion are essential characteristics. We are especially seeking individuals who embrace opportunities to infuse nature, art and mindfulness into both teacher and child-directed programming. Familiarity with organic gardening and outdoor education is also preferred.

Key responsibilities entail supporting school age children as they work on their remote learning schooling. Teachers should also develop a curriculum that embraces the Reggio Emilia philosophy, the community, mindfulness, gardening & nature for the times the children are not on remote learning.

Teachers should plan daily work that promotes exploration and discovery for children. Candidates will be expected to observe the interests of the children, and provide additional outlets to further enhance the learning experience.

Candidates should have:

  • Experience working with children
  • Understanding of an emergent curriculum model
  • Training in the Reggio Emilia approach

A degree in a related field is highly preferred.
