Summer Programs

Summer 2023 Guidelines & Program Information

Dear Families,

Our summer programs begin on July 10, 2023, & run through August 25th.

All of our programs are 5-day sign-ups (Monday – Friday) from 8-4 pm with extended hours from 4-6 for an extra $25 per day.

We will also be running programs through the end of June after the last day of school in Andover.  Sign-up for the June weeks will be available in May.

The safety and well-being of children, families & teachers are our biggest concerns. As we reopen our doors we ask all families to adhere to our new summer guidelines to ensure our summer programs open safely for all. Please view the Summer Guidelines for SHED Children’s Campus at our Notification Center

At this time please note:

If you have any further questions, please reach out to SCC – Dhurley@shedchildrenscampus.org

Thank you for your continued understanding and support during this time. Sending well wishes to you and your loved ones.

The Caterpillars Summer

Our Reggio Emilia-inspired program is a wonderful & safe environment for toddlers to learn about themselves & their peers while exploring the world around them – experiencing art, science, nature, music, building & all our campus has to offer.

Monarch Adventure

Reggio Emilia inspired summer camp, your three (by June 1) to five years old child will immerse in a variety of explorations, while connecting with the natural world.

Junior Adventures

Junior Adventures gives your child entering pre-kindergarten or Kindergarten weekly themes to explore and enjoy. Children immerse themselves into each theme through art, sciences, photography, gardening, movement, and the outdoors.

Outdoor Adventures

Outdoor Adventures is an outdoor community-based program that supports the development of the whole child. Young explorers are provided opportunities to grow and learn at their own pace with scaffolding and guidance.

Summer Adventures

Summer Adventures is a Reggio Emilia inspired program that offers children a summer to embrace their childhood.  The children participate in daily swimming, weekly field trips on Thursdays, daily club time to experience a new hobby or skill & ample time to explore the great outdoors on our beautiful campus.

Team Adventure

Team Adventures is a summer program that offers children in grades 5-8 a chance to explore challenges, help develop their own summer curriculum & participate in field trips 2 times per week.  At least one field trip per week will be held at the beach – offering a chance to explore different beaches along the MA & NH shorelines.

Team Adventures will also join Summer Adventures at the pool on most days.

Crew Program

Crew is a volunteer program for youth who are interested in supporting our summer programs. We will work with Crew members to design their experience & the ways they will volunteer their time.  Interested Crew members should call us to discuss how we can work together.

There is no registration fee for this program.

Crew participants need to pack their own snacks and lunch.
