Linda Shottes Bouchard began her career at the non-profit organization, SHED Children’s Campus in 1992. She grew from her original role as School Age Coordinator to School Age Director and then to her current role as Executive Director. Linda has worked alongside her staff to grow this organization from a grass roots program to a thriving campus that serves over 400 families.

Dina Hurley has been with SHED Children’s Campus since 1992.  She joined the team after graduating from Wheelock College with a bachelors of Human Development with a concentration in Child Life. Karen Ulbin

Meet Karen Ulbin! Karen has been with SCC since August 1997. She came to work at SHED with the before and after school program , working primarily with first and second grade children. Karen did this while finishing her degree at Salem State College at night. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with a focus in Special Education  and Psychology. Before Karen came to SHED, she taught preschool as a lead teacher for nine years in Andover…

Shana Hall

Meet Shana Hall! Shana found SHED Children’s Campus in 2000 and began working in the summer program. In 2004 she joined the team, working in our before school program at South and our after school program with 1st and 2nd grade. Shana also taught LEAP classes for our littles…..here she discovered her love for working with preschool aged children.
In 2016, Shana became a Monarch preschool teacher, working with 4 year olds. In 2017, Shana joined the leadership team…

Lauren started working for SCC in September 2020. Since then, she has worked as a remote learning educator, preschool assistant teacher, and Outdoor Adventure Educator. Lauren graduated from Unity College with a BS in Captive Wildlife Care and Conservation. She also spent 3 years in Vermont at Green Mountain College studying  Environmental Studies, Animal Behavior and Outdoor Education. After Graduating, Lauren worked as a hike leader and Program Director for the Girl Scouts  in Thetford, VT.

Emily Melo

Meet Emily Melo! Emily started working for SCC in Sept. 2009  as a teen helping in the After School Kindergarten. Shortly after that, she did her Student Teaching in Springboard. She worked as a Preschool Assistant in Monarch and was a part of the After School Kindergarten team.  In 2017 she received her Lead Teacher Certification.   Emily graduated in May 2012 with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood from Northern Essex. 

She loves the little ones!!!   The favorite part of her job is watching them learn, grow and experience their “AH HA! Moments”…

Sheila Begley

Meet Sheila Begley! Sheila joined the SCC team in June of 2018, working at Summer Adventures. In the Fall of 2019, Sheila began working as an educator in the Springboard program and the after school program with kindergarten (in the Flower Pot.) She loves to play games and act out stories with the children…..she also loves to incorporate the children’s interests and hobbies into classroom learning…

Nicole Pelletier

Nicole Pelletier is the founder of nature immersion programs at the SHED Children’s Campus in Andover, MA, an art educator at the Essex Art Center in Lawrence, MA, and co-facilitates Junior Green Gatherings. She holds an MA in Teaching for Students with Moderate Disabilities from Wheelock College and a BA in Fine Arts Education from University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. Nicole grew up exploring the diverse natural terrain of New England which instilled in her a passion for engaging with the outdoors throughout the changing seasons. She brings her rigorous academic training coupled with her creative vision to all educational endeavors. She has worked with children…

Meet Elke Crawford!!  Elke is a native of Germany, receiving her education from there; completing a degree in nursing….she did not work long in the field though because she wanted to travel and see the world!!    

Elke’s first connection with our program was when her two sons, Brendan and Kaelan attended SHED and Kid’s Club…..SHED’s site was at Shawsheen School when they first began attending!!  …

Joel Greer

Meet Joel Greer! Joel has been with SCC for 15 years now. Joel works as an educator in the OK Room: Older Kids! (5th -8th grade) and Team Adventure (camp for 5th-8th grade) during the summer. Behind the scenes, Joel is our building/maintenance coordinator, working to make sure our buildings and grounds are always well taken care of. If it needs repair, Joel is our man! One passion that Joel brings to our organization is helping people in need….

Kayleigh Crocker

Kayleigh began her path with SCC in the summer of 2015 as a volunteer (during her high school years). She was a valuable volunteer, working daily to support Summer Adventures. While volunteering, Kayleigh discovered her love for SCC and wanted to be a bigger part of the team. The following summer, Kayleigh joined the SCC team as support staff for Summer Adventures, remaining with the team for the school year, working in the after school program with 1st & 2nd grade classrooms. Meet Claire Giampa!!  Claire remembers how excited she was while being interviewed for a position with SHED Children’s Campus. Meet Johnny Gerety!!! Johnny began working at SHED Children’s Campus in 2001, while a sophomore at Andover High School! After graduating from Champlain College in 2007 with a degree in Graphic Design, Johnny returned to SCC as a co-youth coordinator with Craig Martinson (former SCC educator.) Johnny still holds the role of youth coordinator for SCC, working with the older kids in the after school program, along with being a site coordinator for our before school program at West and director of Team Adventure in the summer.

Meet Joanna Robie! Joanna joined the SCC team in the fall of 2016, as a recent college graduate from Newbury College with a degree in Psychology. She began working in our Before and After school program (1st & 2nd grade), along with leading LEAP classes for our littles. While at SHED, Joanna has also taken Early Childhood courses through Northern Essex Community College to further her EEC teacher certification. This year, Joanna is with Monarch preschool and the after school program in the Hive (1st & 2nd grade) and is part of our Summer Program…

Ali began working at SCC in 2021 as a lead teacher in the Monarch program. Ali brings over 17 years of teaching experience in the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Ali graduated from Wheelock College in 2004 with a Bachelors’s degree in Human Development. She grew up in Andover and recently moved back to town with her husband, preschool-aged daughter, and their Labradoodle named Penny!
